WICHITA, Kan. – In successfully passing the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) Testing, Adjusting and Balancing (TAB) Technician exam, P1 Group Service Technician Allen Eastridge joins the ranks of P1 associates to have earned this prestigious certification.

NEBB is an independent certification agency that is dedicated to training professionals to measure the efficiency of building systems. Their function is to maintain high quality standards for the performance of environmental systems within a building. P1 Group has one of the highest numbers of NEBB certified professionals in the region and is currently certified in three NEBB disciplines; Testing, Adjusting and Balancing (TAB), Building Systems Commissioning (BSC), and Retro-Commissioning (RCx).

“There are many projects that require NEBB certifications,” P1 Group Executive Vice President of Service Phil Nehring stated. “Having these certifications helps us to win those projects, and gives P1 a distinct advantage over competitors.”

Eastridge has been with P1 for five years serving out of the Wichita branch, and studied the extensive course material for almost a year before tackling the grueling four hour written exam to become a certified TAB Technician.

“Out of 150 service technicians, only 10 associates in the whole company have achieved an NEBB certification and we are very proud of his recent accomplishment.” Nehring said.

Congratulations to Allen Eastridge on reaching this major milestone in his career.
